Privacy and disclosures.
What this site collects, what happens to anything you send us, and the disclosures that come with a firm that buys companies. Effective 4 August 2026.
What we collect, and what happens to it.
Daelus Capital LLC is a private holding company in Fort Worth, Texas. One person operates it, and that person reads everything sent through this site. If you have a question about anything below, email dillon@daeluscapital.com.
The form on the contact page asks for your first and last name, your email address, an optional phone number, and a message. Nothing else is required, and there are no hidden fields. If you call or email instead, we hold whatever you chose to put in that call or message.
Five things, and they are the only five:
- Server logs. Our host, Cloudflare, keeps standard records of requests to the site — IP address, browser type, which pages were requested, and when. They exist to keep the site running and to stop abuse.
- HubSpot analytics. Every page loads HubSpot's tracking script. It records which pages you visited and in what order, so that if you later fill in the form we can see the path that brought you there rather than a submission from nowhere. It sets four cookies:
hubspotutk, which identifies your browser across visits, and__hstc,__hsscand__hssrc, which track the visit itself. The first two last about six months; the other two expire within the half hour or when you close the browser. HubSpot's own infrastructure also sets a__cf_bmcookie on its domains to filter bot traffic. - Google Analytics. Every page also loads Google Analytics 4, which sets cookies named
_gaand_ga_followed by a property code. It counts visits, pages, rough location by city, and how people arrive. We use it to see which pages do their job. It is configured for measurement only — Google Signals, advertising features and ads personalisation are all switched off, and this site is not linked to a Google Ads account. The cookies last up to two years. - Google reCAPTCHA. The form is protected against bots by reCAPTCHA, which collects device and behaviour signals from your browser to tell a person from a script and sets a
_GRECAPTCHAcookie. Google's own terms and privacy policy govern that data. - Google Fonts. Every page loads its typefaces from Google's font service, which means your IP address reaches Google whenever a page loads, on this page as much as any other.
The two analytics cookies are set when a page loads, before you do anything. If you would rather they were not, the next section says how to stop them.
We measure traffic, and that is where it stops. There are no advertising or retargeting pixels on this site, no session recording or heatmaps, no cross-site profiling, no data brokers, and no trackers of any kind beyond the five named above. Google Analytics is running in its plain measurement configuration, with the advertising and audience features turned off, so nothing here feeds ad targeting.
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for anyone's advertising. We do not rent it or trade it, and there is no newsletter to be added to. If we ever turned on advertising features, that sentence would have to change and this page would change with it.
There is no cookie banner on this site, so here is the plain version instead. You can block or delete these cookies in your browser's settings at any time, and the site works exactly the same without them. Google publishes a Google Analytics opt-out add-on that switches it off across every site you visit. Most browsers also offer a setting to block third-party cookies outright, which stops all of this at once.
One purpose: to reply to you, and to work out whether buying your company is something both sides should pursue. That is the whole of it.
Four service providers, each acting on our instructions rather than their own:
- HubSpot — runs the contact form, measures visits, and holds the record of our correspondence.
- Google Workspace — carries our email, which is where a reply to you comes from.
- Google — Analytics, reCAPTCHA and Fonts, as described above.
- Cloudflare — hosts and serves the site.
All four are in the United States. We may also share information where the law requires it, or with our own professional advisers where a live transaction makes that necessary.
The contact page says that nothing you send is shared outside Daelus without your consent. That is the commitment, and it means the thing a seller actually cares about: we do not pass what you tell us to brokers, lenders, competing buyers, or anyone else with an interest in your business. Nothing on this page qualifies that.
The service providers above are a different matter. They are the tools that run the form, the email, and the site itself — they act only on our instructions, they are bound by their contracts with us, and they are not free to use what you send for their own purposes. Naming them here is a disclosure, not an exception to the promise.
Worth separating the two things clearly, because they are easy to blur. What you send us — your name, your message, whatever you tell us about the business — goes to us and stays with us. What the site observes — which pages loaded, in what order, from roughly where — is ordinary traffic measurement, it is not the substance of your enquiry, and it is not sold or used to advertise to you. The section above tells you how to switch that measurement off if you would rather it did not happen at all.
Enquiries and correspondence: for as long as we are in contact, and for up to two years afterward, so that a conversation picked up later starts where it left off rather than from nothing. If you would rather we deleted it sooner, ask and we will.
Analytics is set to expire on its own. Google Analytics data is held for 14 months and then deleted automatically, and the cookies described above expire on the timetables given there. Cloudflare's server logs turn over on their schedule, which is short.
Email us and you can ask for a copy of what we hold about you, a correction to it, or its deletion. We answer these within 30 days. Depending on where you live, you may have these rights as a matter of law rather than as a matter of our policy; either way, the answer is the same and you do not need to cite a statute to get it.
We take reasonable measures to protect what you send, and the providers above are established firms with real security programmes. No website can promise perfect security, and we will not pretend otherwise. Practical advice: a web form is the right place to start a conversation, and the wrong place to send financials, customer lists, or anything else you would not want loose. The first call is where we arrange a better route for those.
This site is meant for business owners. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
If this policy changes, the effective date at the top of the page changes with it.
What Daelus is, and what it is not.
Daelus Capital LLC buys businesses for its own account. It is not a business broker, a broker-dealer, an investment bank, or a registered investment adviser. We do not represent sellers, we do not take a commission, and we are not paid to introduce anyone to anyone.
Nothing on this site is an offer to buy or sell a security, an offer to buy any particular business, or a commitment to any price or terms. The criteria on what we buy describe what we look for, not what we promise. A real offer arrives in writing, after a conversation and diligence, and it says so on its face.
Dillon Friedman holds a passive interest in Icosian Capital, which acquired and owns APA Medical — the company described on who we are. Daelus Capital has not acquired a company. Icosian is a separate entity under separate control, and an approach to Daelus is not an approach to Icosian.
The operating figures cited for APA Medical are historical results at one company, under Icosian's ownership, over a specific period. They are given as a record of work done. They are not a projection, a guarantee, or a representation about what would happen at your company.
